I may do work with this company. There reference sheet is pretty impressive. Does anybody know anything about this company?

As a musician myself, I am frustrated by the business side of music.
THIS GOES OUT TO ALL OF THE MUSICIANS TRYING TO MAKE A FUCKING LIVING!!!!!!
I am learning that it is this simple. Here is the bottom line.
Whenever you are approached by a business (agent, manager, lawyer, label, promoter, online website) or whatever the fucking name tag says for the person or company claiming to “pump up” your career. Tell them this:
I will pay you three months out of my pocket (X amount) to gather your team and to create a game plan. Then if (in 6 months) I have not made my money back with touring, merch sales, and internet purchases. Your all fired. Simple as that. (Musicians, if you can not afford this upfront payment, you’re on your own…)

Otherwise, consider yourself the very leeches making false promises, and sucking the last bit of life from the dreams of wide-sparkly eyed young musicians across the globe. Thank you for leaving this business to die a slow, despicable death.

Hello Everyone!!
This is my first new blog on the website and yes it’s really me 
So much has happened in the past few months!! Most notable I recently signed a digital distribution deal with the Soron Music Group! Sweeeet! Also, I just got back from a west coast tour from San Diego to Vancouver Canada…So very cool. It’s kinda funny because San Diego and Vancouver were my favorite cities…hmmm. Anyway, what a blast! All I did was play every day at an open mic night somewhere and most venues had at least 20 people there. It was a very fun experience. Met so many great and freindly people. My friend Chris aka VJ Quanta came out with me untill the end.
We kicked the tour off right with Buning Man 2007 then through Redwoods to San Fran. Then off to Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, and then back down again. We must have hit over 40 open mics total!! Artist check out www.openmikes.org. It’s great.
Anyway, now I’m back here in Las Vegas playin’ on the strip at various venues here. I am also currently working on a new CD out this summer. I think I’m going to self-title this one..just Brother Luke. Nuf said! hahahahaha. Anyway, will keep you posted on more. This is only the beginning!!! Love me or leave me. Shaun
